Many of today’s standard promotional or giveaway gifts are available with eco friendly credentials. More and more businesses, and in particular, government agencies look to be ‘green’ with everything from their stationery to their coffee. As a promotional merchandise company it is important for us to offer a range of products which fulfil this need. In previous years it was nearly impossible to source eco friendly products, and any that were available were expensive. Thankfully this has changed and products can be ethical, organic and affordable.
- Pens – there are a wide range pens that tick the eco friendly box. These include ‘bio’ pens created from a renewable and sustainable polymer derived from corn starch which biodegradable. Pens made from recycled materials or from sustainable wood and bamboo. View our range of eco pens
- Mouse mats – can be recycled products such as tyres, juice cartons and circuit boards, as well as using bamboo, sustainable wood and leather.
- Clothing – t-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts, baseball caps and baby wear can be bought in organic cotton. Some clothing items are made from recycled plastic bottles and recycled polyester. Some tee shirts available are made from bamboo. Fair trade clothing is also available.
- Umbrellas – these are now using more recycled products. They are available with 100% recycled canopy, using an aluminium shaft and a sustainable wooden handle.
- Mugs – these can be recycled plastic or a ceramic mug can be printed using organic inks.
- Desk items - clocks can be powered by water, rather than batteries which is a great source of interest, desk pads can be recycled paper, have a cover which used to be a tyre or a drinks carton. - Bags - there are a huge range of bags which are encompassed within the eco range – jute bags which are hard wearing and come in a range of sizes and styles. Non-woven bags come in a vast range of sizes, colours and finishes, including metallic. They have the advantage of being strong but very light.
